Valley at Work Meetings

We meet between 6pm and 8.30pm, at a local venue, usually on the first Wednesday of every month.

With the exception of the Rossendale Business Awards ceremony in December and the AGM in July, all our meetings are free of charge to attend (unless there is food), and everyone is welcome.

Our meetings are deliberately friendly and informal – there’s plenty of time to circulate and get to know everyone. You are not obliged to pitch your business or provide referrals for other attendees.

If you would like to come along to any meeting, or you would like to receive regular email updates, please contact enquiries@valleyatwork.co.uk and let us know.

Next Meeting:  Wednesday March 13th, 6.00pm – 8.30pm.

Location: Ski Rossendale, Rawtenstall
Topic: Outdoor Fun with Olly’s Woodland Learning

Speaker: Rob Carder, Chair Valley at Work

We will set aside the first hour for a tour of the new building and then we will have a carousel of activities ongoing for folk to drop in and out of. They will include, firelighting, campfire cooking, soft archery (with a prize for the best score) and tubing on the slope.

Assisting run the evening will be some local scouts who are going to the world jamboree in the USA in the summer. They need to raise around £3K each. They will have a donation bucket for folk to make a contribution, should they wish.

Everyone is welcome at this Valley at Work meeting. Its free to attend, and you can be assured of a friendly welcome!
