January’s over at last and it’s time to look ahead to the rest of 2015. At Meet and Eat we’re looking forward to a bright and vibrant year of business in the Valley. It might be cold outside, but we’ve got a warm welcome, hot chilli and the liveliest business brains in the area.
This month our guest speaker is Dave Fuller who helped spearhead the social enterprise that took control of Ski Rossendale in September 2011. Ski Rossendale had been receiving £100k a year in grant funding before Rossendale Council decided it could no longer afford to support the facility. The centre – which was opened in 1973 – is now run by Dave and a mix of staff and volunteers.
